Key Settings Explained
-
Motion Detection & Sensitivity:
- Motion Detection: This setting allows you to turn motion-activated recording on or off.
- Motion Sensitivity: Adjust how sensitive the camera is to movement. Choose between Low, Medium, or High to match your environment.
-
Check-In Frequency: This setting determines how often your camera communicates with the app to update settings.
- Hybrid: (Recommended for most users) The camera checks for new settings during its daily check-in and for five minutes after a motion-triggered event. This mode conserves battery life.
- Instant: The camera applies setting changes within minutes. This mode uses more battery power and is required for on-demand photos.
- Check-In Picture: This feature sends a scheduled picture to confirm your camera is functioning correctly. This is especially useful in low-traffic areas where you might not get regular motion-triggered photos. Please note that these scheduled photos will appear in your gallery like a regular picture and are not specifically labeled as "check-in pictures."
- Power Type: To ensure accurate battery life reporting, please select the type of batteries you are using: Alkaline, NI-MH, Lithium, or Lithium Cartridge.
