What It Does
Live View gives you real-time video access from your Defend camera, allowing you to monitor activity instantly.
Each session:
- Runs for 1 minute 50 seconds, then prompts you to continue
- Max time is 4 minutes per session
- Boot-up takes ~30 seconds (signal-dependent)
- Closing the session during boot-up does not count toward session limits
In-Session Options
- Take a picture (saved to your phone’s camera roll)
- Mute or unmute audio
- For the Defend 360 Only:
Use the app arrows to rotate the camera.
Zoom in and out easily.
The camera will begin taking photos from its last set position. Be sure you rotate your camera back to the position you wish to have photos taken from. Camera will stay in the position you leave it in.
Plan-Based Access
Live View session limits depend on your plan:

- You can mix Pro and Premium plans across different cameras
- When selecting Premium, you'll choose which camera(s) receive unlimited Live View
- In Stripe, Premium will show as an add-on to the Pro plan

- Update to DEFEND App Version 2.1.1
- Ensure your camera is powered on and connected
- Make sure your firmware is up to date
- Subscribe to the appropriate plan (Plus for AI, Starter/Pro/Premium for Live View)
