Steps to Set Up Your Data Plan and Activate Your Camera:
- Navigate to Plan Selection: Tap the "Click Here" link within the red "No Plan" message in the app. This will redirect you to your account on our web portal. Alternatively, you can directly visit account.defendcellcam.com in your web browser.
- Log In: Log in to your Tactacam DEFEND account.
- Choose Your Plan: Select the data plan that best suits your needs for your cameras.
- Enter Payment Information: Provide your payment details or choose to pay with your existing card ending in xxxx.

Activate Your Camera(s) in the App: Once your plan is successfully paid for, you can now activate your camera(s) within the mobile app:
- Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the upper left corner of the app's home screen.
- Select + Add A Camera.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to select your camera model and tap Continue.
- Scan the QR code located inside the door of your camera, located in the battery compartment.
- Allow a few minutes for the camera to connect to a cellular signal.
- After the camera connects, press the test button on the camera to capture and send a test photo, ensuring it's functioning correctly.
- Camera Setup Complete: Once you receive the test photo, your camera is activated and ready to be placed in your desired location.
Steps to purchase the Data Plan on the Web Portal:

Once you log into your account on the web portal, you will see a red banner at the top of the page that says "Your account does not currently have an active plan. Click here to add a plan." Click the 3 lines in the top left-hand corner.

4. Select a Data Plan and click Continue to purchase the new plan.
