Summary:
DEFEND cameras adopt the same data plan as the first registered camera unless both monthly and yearly subscriptions are purchased. Plans include Starter ($5/month or $55/year, 250 photos/month), Pro ($13/month or $120/year, unlimited photos), and Premium ($19/month or $175/year, unlimited photos and live view). The Plus Plan add-on ($9/month for all cameras) offers unlimited HD photos/videos and 1-year cloud storage. Overage Protection is only for the Starter Plan. Support: support@tactacam.com
Plan Assignment:
- When you register your first DEFEND camera, all subsequent cameras added to your account will automatically be assigned to the same data plan (either monthly or yearly) that you initially selected.
- The only exception to this is if you have specifically purchased both a Monthly and a Yearly Subscription through the Account Web Portal. In this case, you can assign cameras to either plan as needed.

Available Data Plans:
We offer the following data plan options to suit your needs:
1. Starter Plan:
- Monthly: $5 per camera per month
- Yearly: $55 per camera per year (This offers a slight discount compared to the monthly cost)
- Photo Allowance: 250 photos per month per camera
- Live View: 3 live view sessions per month
- Cloud Storage: 60 days of cloud storage for your photos and videos.
- Photo Pooling: If you have multiple cameras on the Starter Plan, the photo count is combined and shared across all active cameras. For example, with three cameras on the Starter Plan, you'll have a total of 750 photos per month to use.
- Overage Protection (Optional): If you exceed your monthly photo allowance, you can enable Overage Protection for an additional $5 USD for every 250 pictures received.
2. Pro Plan:
- Monthly: $13 per camera per month
- Yearly: $120 per camera per year (This offers a discount compared to the monthly cost)
- Photo Allowance: Unlimited photos per month per camera.
- Live View: 5 live view sessions per month
- Cloud Storage: 60 days of cloud storage for your photos and videos.
3. Premium Plan
- Monthly: $19 Per Camera Per Month
- Yearly: $175 per camera per Year
- Photo Allowance: Unlimited photos per month per camera.
- Live View: Unlimited live view sessions per month
- Cloud Storage: 60 days of cloud storage for your photos and videos.
4. Plus Plan (Add-on):
- Cost: $9 per month for all cameras on your account. This is an add-on to either the Starter or Pro plan.
