Reveal App Overview Update 5.6

Summary

Version 5.6.0 of the Reveal app introduces three key features: TactaFeed, an in-app social community for hunters to share and engage; Hunt Radar, an AI-powered tool predicting animal movement with 10-day forecasts and detailed weather data; and Live View Recording, allowing users to record and save live video from compatible Reveal cameras directly to their phones. Update the app to access these features.

Important: To access these new features, you must update your Reveal app to the latest version (5.6.0) from the App Store or Google Play Store.

 

New Feature: TactaFeed — The Reveal Community Hub

 

Connect with fellow hunters, share your best trail cam captures, and get feedback from the community, all within the Reveal app.

What you can do:

  • Create a personalized user profile.

  • Post photos and videos directly from your Reveal cameras. 

    (Note: Uploading from your phone's gallery is not supported at this time).

  • Create polls to score or age animals with help from the community.
  • Like, comment on, and share posts.
  • Join groups focused on specific hunting topics, regions, or tips.
  • Receive notifications for engagement on your posts.

To get started: You must review and accept the TactaFeed Terms of Service upon first use.

 

New Feature: Hunt Radar — Predict Your Hunt

 

Take the guesswork out of planning your next hunt. Hunt Radar uses AI to analyze weather patterns, terrain, and historical data to forecast wildlife activity at your camera locations.

What you can do:

  • View 10-day forecasts for predicted animal movement.
  • See detailed weather conditions, including wind, temperature, and pressure fronts.

  • Use these data-driven insights to choose the best days and times to hunt.

    (Note: This Feature is only available with the Xtra Add on.)

 

New Feature: Live View Recording — Capture and Save the Action

 

You can now record and save your Live View sessions directly to your mobile device.

How it works:

  • Start a Live View session with a compatible camera.
  • Tap the new Record button to start capturing video.
  • The recorded video will be saved directly to your phone’s photo/video gallery for easy access and sharing.
  • This feature is compatible with any Reveal camera model that supports Live View.
