Additional DEFEND App FAQ's

Is there a Map feature since the DEFEND has GPS?

We do not currently have a map feature in DEFEND, but the GPS coordinates are on the Camera Details page.

If a DEFEND camera is on the REVEAL app is it shown on the Map?

Yes, as long as it can retrieve GPS coordinates from the satellite system.

Can you see a live view from the camera?

No, the DEFEND camera does not provide live video or audio streaming. The app does allow the user to retrieve on-demand photos and videos as long as the camera is in instant mode. 

Can DEFEND cameras be suspended?

Yes. You can suspend your DEFEND cameras in the app.

Are there buckets for HD media or just the PLUS plan?

Yes, there are HD and video buckets for users who do not have the PLUS plan.

Does the PLUS plan include 1-year cloud for all photos or just HD photos and videos?

PLUS allows 1 year for all standard photos. HD photos and videos remain for the life of the account because they are paid content. If PLUS is ended, there is a 30-day grace period before retention is cut to 60 days from the current date. 

Are there discounts for adding additional cameras to the DEFEND app?
No, we have flat pricing for all quantities.
