Hunt Sync: What It is
Hunt Sync gives you complete control over when you receive photos and other media from your REVEAL cellular cameras. This feature allows you to temporarily pause real-time delivery to your app, ideal for aligning with your hunting schedule or local regulations.
What Hunt Sync Does:
- Pauses Real-time Delivery: When activated, your camera continues to capture images and videos according to your settings, but photos, on-demand videos, on-demand pictures, and Live View will not be delivered to the app. This prevents any live updates or real-time transmissions during your session.
- Organizes Your Media: Once Hunt Sync is turned off, all photos and videos captured during that period are collected into a dedicated "Hunt Sync session" within your app.
- Provides an Audit Trail: Each session offers a clear audit history, detailing the start time, end time, and all cameras involved.

How to Use Hunt Sync
Follow these steps to create, manage, and end a Hunt Sync session:
Access Hunt Sync
- From the home page of your REVEAL app, tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the upper right-hand corner.
Select Hunt Sync from the menu.
Create a New Hunt Sync Session
Once on the Hunt Sync screen, tap Create New Hunt Sync Session.
- Select the cameras you wish to include in this session.
Tap Turn on Hunt Sync.
Confirm Active Session
On the Cameras page, you’ll see Hunt Sync listed below the names of any cameras that are currently active with it.
Turn Off a Hunt Sync Session
- To end an active session, toggle the session off on the right-hand side of the session entry.
Then, select Turn off Hunt Sync.
Delete a Hunt Sync Session
You also have the option to delete a turned off session from your history:
- Select the turned off session you wish to delete.
- Tap the three dots (•••) in the upper right-hand corner of the session details.
Select Delete session.
