REVEAL X Troubleshooting: Condensation Inside Camera

If your REVEAL X camera is experiencing internal condensation, follow the troubleshooting steps below.

1. DIY Drying Method (Recommended First Step):

This method aims to thoroughly dry out the camera and ensure all seals are clean and secure.

• What to do:
  1. Power off your REVEAL X camera.
  2. Carefully remove the SD card, SIM card, battery tray, and external antennas.
  3. Place the camera in a dry location with good air circulation, such as a windowsill that receives sunlight (but not direct, intense sunlight that could overheat the camera), or near a gentle fan. Avoid using direct heat sources like hair dryers, which can cause damage.
  4. Allow the camera to dry out completely. This may take 24-48 hours or longer, depending on the level of moisture.
  5. Once thoroughly dry, inspect the rubber seals around the battery compartment and other openings. Ensure they are clean and free of dirt, debris, or damage. Gently wipe them if needed.
  6. Re-insert the SD card, SIM card, and battery tray. Make sure they are correctly seated.
  7. If you use an external antenna, ensure it is tightly screwed into its port after re-inserting the internal components.
  8. Power on your camera and check if the condensation is gone.
