REVEAL Camera: How to Check Your Camera's Current Firmware

Steps to Check Your Camera's Firmware In App

  1. From the app's home screen, tap the Camera icon at the bottom of the page.
  2. Select the specific camera location you wish to check.
  3. Tap either the battery icon or the signal icon.
  4. Select Device Info.
  5. Your camera's current firmware version will be displayed here.
     

With Wifi:

Connecting Your Camera

  1. Camera Setup Mode: Put your Reveal camera into Setup mode. The Wi-Fi light on your camera should be flashing blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
    • Pro 3 Users: You'll also see the Wi-Fi symbol flashing on your camera's screen.
  2. Open App & Connect:
    • Open the Reveal app.
    • Tap the Camera icon at the bottom of the screen.
    • Tap WiFi Icon top right of the app screen.
  3. Follow On-Screen Prompts: Complete the connection by following the instructions displayed in the app.
  4. Once on the Preview screen: You'll see camera firmware information below the screen with the redline.

On Camera

For X-Pro,Pro 3.0 and Ultra on the CAMERA: 

  • Power on your camera
  • Hit the Right Arrow on the main screen to get to Settings
  • Use the Down arrow until you highlight Camera Info
  • Hit Enter
  • Press and hold the RIGHT arrow for 10 seconds and keep holding and it will show the firmware version.
  • Current Firmware versions are: C402, C502, D305, or, D701
