Summary:
If your REVEAL 2.0 camera’s Wi-Fi light doesn’t turn on or the SD light shows red or orange, try manually formatting the SD card or replacing it with a new, compatible one designed for REVEAL cameras.
Manually Format the SD Card:
What to Do: If the red status light persists after retrying the test photo, the most common culprit is the SD card. You should first attempt to format the SD card, and if that doesn't work, replace it.
To manually format the SD card:
- Turn the camera to SETUP
- Push and Hold the TEST button
- Switch the camera from SETUP to ON (while still holding the TEST button)
- KEEP holding the TEST button for 5 seconds
- Release the TEST button
Replace SD Card:
- If formatting doesn't resolve the issue, or if the SD card is old/damaged, power off your camera.
- Remove the existing SD card and insert a new, compatible SD card.
- Important: Use a Class 10, U3 SD Card (16 GB- 32 GB) with a minimum write speed of 90MB/Sec. Incompatible or slow cards can cause errors. For more SD card Information, click Reveal SD cards
