Identifying Specific Cameras for Reactivation:
If you have multiple cameras and need to reactivate specific ones but are unsure of their identification within the app, you can use the following methods to match the physical camera with its entry in the app:
Method 1: Scan the QR Code:
- Locate the QR code on each of your physical cameras.
- Use your smartphone's camera app to scan the QR code.
- The scan should display the camera's IMEI-ICCID number.
- Within the DEFEND app, navigate to the Device Info for each camera (see steps below) and match the displayed IMEI-ICCID with the one you scanned.
How to Access Camera Details (Device Info):
To find the IMEI and ICCID information within the DEFEND app:
- Tap a camera name from the home screen.
- Select See Device Information
- The IMEI will be under Device Information. The ICCID will be found under Carrier Information
By using either the QR code scanning or the SIM card check method, you can accurately identify each camera in the app and ensure you are reactivating the correct ones.
