How to charge the LiPo pack correctly

You will need a USB-C cord with a 5-volt charging block. 

To test if the LiPo pack is charging correctly, please try the following:

1. Take the LiPo pack out of the camera
2. Plug the panel into the pack, and step outside.
3. Point the panel into full sun and if the pack is charging properly, a red light will come ON indicating that it is charging. 

If the red light is OFF or blinking red, then that is telling me that the cord you are using to charge the LiPo pack is not working. You will want to try a different cord/block combination if charging at home or contact us if it is doing that while connected to the SK solar panel.

You can use our big solar panel to help your camera keep up if you are going above and beyond the 100/day, 3k/month picture count. It will NOT charge the LIPO, but the camera will run off the external solar panel battery until dead/unplugged and then would automatically switch to the internal LIPO/battery tray after that.
