Thank you for reaching out! Usually the camera will sync up with the server and report the correct date and time but if it doesn't do this correctly, you can do a simple hard reset on the camera.
To do this you will need a paperclip so bring one with you!
1. Put the camera in Setup mode
2. Press the Reset button on the bottom of the camera (inside the door)
3. Hold for 10 seconds, then release
4. Camera will power off and reboot.
5. Allow enough time for the camera to check in with the server and then make sure pictures are coming through with the correct date and time.
If that doesn’t work you can also try debug mode.
To put your camera in debug mode:
- Put your camera in SETUP mode
- Press and hold the Test button, while pushing in the Reset button with a paperclip. Hold both for 5 seconds, and then release.
- The SD light should start blinking green
- Turn the camera to the ON position
- Leave in debug mode for 72 hours
- You may now take the camera out of debug mode: in SETUP, press and hold Test button and Reset for 5 seconds and release (same way you put the camera in debug mode)
Once the camera has been in debug mode for at least 24 hours, please do the following to help us find where this issue is coming from.
- Insert the SD card into a computer
- Click the SYS_INFO folder
- Send me the file in that folder
