How to Reactivate Your Camera Subscription In The REVEAL App

Follow the steps below to reactivate your camera(s) in the REVEAL App:
Important: Ensure your REVEAL app is updated to version 5.7 or newer to access the options described below. If you don't see the mentioned options, please update your app through your device's app store.

Steps to Reactivate a Camera:

  1. Open the REVEAL app and navigate to the Home screen.
  2. Tap the Camera icon located at the bottom of the screen.
  3. If no cameras are listed, tap the drop down for the Camera Location where the camera you want to reactivate is listed.
  4. Tap either the battery icon or the signal icon that appears next to the specific camera's name.
  5. From the options that appear, select Camera Actions.
  6. Scroll down the Camera Actions menu and tap 'Resume Camera Service'.
  7. A confirmation window will pop up. Tap the green option that says 'Resume Camera Service'. Then Tap 'Yes' to proceed with the reactivation.

Identifying Your Cameras for Reactivation:

If you have multiple cameras and need to identify a specific one for reactivation, you can use the following methods to match your physical camera to its listing in the app:

Method 1: Using the QR Code

  1. Locate the QR code sticker on your physical camera.
  2. Use your smartphone's camera app to scan the QR code. This will typically display the camera's IMEI-ICCID number.
  3. In the REVEAL app, find the corresponding IMEI-ICCID by following these steps:
    1. Tap the Camera icon at the bottom of the Home screen.
    2. Tap the name of the Camera Location.
    3. Tap the battery icon or signal icon next to the camera name you want to identify.
    4. Scroll down and select Device Info.
    5. Compare the IMEI-ICCID displayed here with the one you obtained from scanning the QR code.

Method 2: Using the SIM Card Number

  1. Carefully remove the SIM card from the physical camera you want to identify.
  2. Note the last five digits of the SIM card number.
  3. In the REVEAL app, access the camera's details by following the same steps as in Method 1 (steps 3.1 through 3.4).
  4. In the Device Info, locate the ICCID number.
  5. Compare the last five digits of the SIM card you removed with the last five digits of the ICCID displayed in the app to identify the correct camera.
