This can be caused by a few different things:
- A low or dead battery
- A bad USB connection
- An incompatible MicroSD Card
- A faulty USB cable
- A fault within the Tactacam’s USB port
First, be sure your battery is properly charged by charging it fully. Be sure to use the cord and wall adapter included and plugged into a 110v wall outlet. Once you are certain your battery has a full charge, be sure you are making a proper and secure connection both to the Tactacam as well as to your computer. Power the Tactacam ON. Be sure you have a fully compatible MicroSD Card. You card should not only be a Class 10 but also have at least 30mb/s speed setting or anything higher. If you are unsure, please look up your MicroSD card model to double check. We do have a fully compatible 32GB SanDisk Ultra MicroSD card available for purchase by clicking here. Just to double check to make sure your MicroSD card has not become faulty, you may want to try a different MicroSD card as well. If you have checked all the above and you are still unable to have your Tactacam recognized on your computer, you may want to try another Micro USB (for the 1st model Tactacam) or a Mini USB (for the 2.0 models) cord. If you have tried that and still getting the same result, please call us at (844) 482-2822 between 9-5CST Mon-Fri.
