Here is some information on HD images for the REVEAL Cellular Trail Camera Line:
HD image request is currently supported on all REVEAL models except for Gen 1 REVEALS that do not have the B506 firmware. You can request HD images through your Reveal App for $5 per 50 photos that are downloaded successfully. Or if you have purchased the monthly Xtra add-on feature, for $9/month.
Only HD images that are successfully sent will count against the 50 pictures that you paid for. Your HD images that come through successfully will appear in the photo feed and automatically be added to the HD photo gallery.
There are several reasons an HD image will not send to your app from your REVEAL including signal failure at the time of transmission, low battery, failed payment, and too slow of an SD card.
When you request an HD image, if you have your "Settings Check" set to daily, your HD images that are successfully sent will show up in your HD gallery at the time of camera check-in. If your "Settings Check" is set to instant, you will receive your HD photos instantly.
To request an HD Photo:
- Select the picture you would like to request an HD photo of by holding down on the picture until it is highlighted green
- Click on the HD icon at the bottom of your screen
- Select HD Photo
- Press OK to confirm your request
If you have our Xtra plan then you will receive the following message:
If you receive an Alert message this can mean a few different things:
1. You are requesting an HD image from a Gen 1 that does not have the B506 firmware.
2. The image is no longer saved to the SD card installed in the camera.
3. The file name on the SD card was changed to something other than the original image requested.
